once district 29-5A teams go into playoffs
we will have Coaches Joel Lopez (Bulldogs),
David Sanchez (Longhorns), and two
pending for pre-game interviews.

Laredo Martin Tigers (28) vs Laredo
Alexander Bulldogs (42).  A surprise in
the score.  Football fans at the game saw
the defense and offense of the Tigers
put a hamper on the Bulldogs,  Bulldogs
offense struggled with the Tigers defense.
No other team had put so many numbers
on the Bulldogs this season, except for
the Del Rio Rams.

However, when the dust cleared the
Bulldogs came on top.  And, a big
congrats to Alex Bryand, sophomore,
Bulldog LB/WR, who seems to get better
with every game he plays. A future
football star in the making.

AND, that is the way it is!

Morale Victory for the Tigers.  The
Laredo Martin Tigers can hold their
heads up after playing the Alexander
Bulldogs, even thou the Tigers lost.

They entered this game to compete
against top second ranking team in the
district.  They out scored the Bulldogs in
the first quarter of the game. However,
came out short.

Head Coach Don Davis stated that the
Tigers play hard.  And, rightly in a good
performance against the Bulldogs.

AND, that is the way it is!

Longhorns "answered the call" that is
what Coach David Sanchez said about
his Longhorns.  The Laredos United
Longhorns (24) & LBJ Wolves (10) was
the score.  

got a upper start on them on the first half.
However, at half time the Longhorn
coaches talk to the team about
answering the call.  And, so they did.

The Wolves scored first in the first half.
At half time the scored was at 7 points
each team.  The Wolves showed up and
so they did.  The gave the Longhorns a
run for their money.

Homecoming, Senior Walk, & Winning
the Game it all felt in place.  The
Laredo Panthers (34) played host to the
Eagle Pass Mavericks (18).  Another
sweet taste of victory for the Panthers.

Coach Jose Briones, Panthers, stated
that it was a hectic week with so many
football activities going on this week.
However, the Panthers were able to go
onto the field to produce a "W".  We was
overall pleased with the offense and
defense performance.

AND, that is the way it is!
