Coach and school campus Coordinator Don Davis for an interview.
Coach Davis agreed. As you know sports fans is not the first time we
where we meet the coach face to face for a straight shot interview.
There are seven segments to this interview. Each segment runs from
6 to 8 minutes in duration. Segments titled "Segments 1 to 4"
pertain to his early years at LISD to the Head Football Coach of the
Martin High Tigers (players, coaches, double wing formation,
demographics of the Martin Tigers, state of condition and limited
resources, Tigers vs Mustangs game, etc.). This covers approximately
8 years of history.
Segments 5 and 6 expands on "administrative level issues". Coach
Davis resigns and states several areas for improvement.
Improvements that should promote a more successful sports program
at all LISD schools.
Laredo Media Sports purpose of doing this interview was to convey as
much time as needed; in order for the public to know a little more in
depth of how things evolved to Coach Davis resignation.
"Final Words" consists of his closing statements to the athletes of
Martin High Tigers. And, a few comments on his tentative future.
We will also open the doors to Laredo Independent School District. If
they should want to state any comments, we will be more than happy
to provide them with the same services as we did to Coach Davis.
We wish Coach Don Davis a bright future. He has always been there
for Laredo Media Sports. We wish him a good farewell.
