It seems ESPN 1490am seems to understand how
important it is to show respect to our flag especially at
time of war.  After all, you all are role models to the
children that are around you.  Thank you for
understanding this issue.

Where does the road lead to the top Four.
LMS, 09.21.11. Week 4

Week 3 unraveled the rankings from many that made
predictions from the 7on7 era going into the
preseason football.  Which prove to be too soon.
Because a picture of the rankings start  developing
until the end of Week 3 going into Week 4.
Del Rio Rams  vs Laredo Alexander Bulldogs
LMS, 09.21.11. (Saturday Game)

Del Rio Rams vs Laredo Alexander Bulldogs,
Game of the Week.
The Rams football team knows what the challenge is
this week when it travels to Laredo -- find a way to
contain Bulldogs QB  Bryan Swain who is a threat not
only in the passing but in the running game.  And, as
for the Rams well one can look at their stats.  But,
that is all we have are stats.

Laredo Nixon Mustangs vs  Laredo LBJ Wolves
LMS, 09.21.11.  (Thursday Game)

Well, the Nixon Mustangs lost a horse shoe, mustangs
shoe or whatever last week. That game was just an
attention getter.  At times, It builds more character in
team for what lays ahead. However, they still remain
high on the list. The Mustangs has applied the
passing to their menu.  With ever game they play
their QB and receivers are punching more and more
holes into defenses.

Laredo Cigarroa Toros  vs  E P CCW Mavs
LMS, 09.21.11.  (Friday Game)

Is this the "Battle of the Bulls"?  At moment I do not
want to cross paths with the Toros.  Don't fence them
in because they will kick the beans out of you.  These
guys are not used to being in the position they are in
right now.  They are still looking for that "W".  This is
going to be a hard hitting game.

The Mavs on the other hand are in a high state of
mind.  They came home (Eagle Pass) with their first
"W".

Eagle Pass Eagles  vs  Laredo United 'Horns
LMS, 09.21.11.  (Friday Game)

Eagles have me in a confusion state, at this time.
Normally, from last year to previous years the Eagles
would be undefeated coming into this weeks game.
Now, they find themselves struggling for one of the
top four positions.  Coming into United Longhorns
territory it makes it harder to have an upper hand in
this weeks game.  However, HFC Tom Gonzalez and
company will find a way to be one of the leaders.

Laredo's Martin Tigers  vs  United So. Panthers
LMS, 09.21.11.  (Saturday Morning  Game)

Whom is mightier -- the Tiger or the Panther?
The Tigers were exposed earlier to the Longhorns
passing game in their first district game.
Respectfully, the Panthers and Longhorns use the
spread.

Therefore, the Tigers come into this game against
the Panthers with a heads up with their defense
playing against the spread offense, generally
speaking.  Both defenses are able to blitz and rush
the QB out the pocket fairly well.

However, the Panthers have weapons such as the arm
of QB Robert Camarillo and his go to receivers Carlos
Verdarte and Orlando Contreras.  And, the Tigers at
the moment are riding on the running game led by
Rudy Castillo.

Week 3 (MHS vs  UHS).
HFC Oscar Villasenor, Laredo LBJ Wolves
Coach Villasenor of the
Wolves thanked his
defense for stopping
Laredo Nixon in every
which way. And, for the
offense under the
leadership of QB Luis
Vaca, they performed
outstanding.  He stated
that the Wolves came
out to prove a point.
HFC David Sanchez, Laredo United 'Horns
Coach David Sanchez
stated that his defense
and offense played well
and hard.
Again, United
demonstrated that they
are controlling defenses
and offenses in the
repeat for district
champs.

A true game of the week.
This was a game of
Champions vs

Alexander Bulldogs'
defense proves again
that it is for real.  The
'Dogs were tested in this
game and they prevail.
No stone left unturned.

DISTRICT GAME OF THE WEEK
A  True Test of Character. 09.26.11. LMS

Two of the three Elites of district 29-5A play this
weekend in Laredo, Rams (21) and Bulldogs (28).
Did someone forget to tell these two teams it was
not district playoff time.  They played as champions.

Tigers and
Mavericks.
This game along
with the Longhorns
and Rams will be
the games to watch
this Friday, 09.30.11.
The Laredo real
media had given up
on the Tigers and
Mavericks to tie for
last place.  How
ironic. At this
moment they are in
contention for the
number 4 spot.
Both teams have
turned their program
100% in a positive
direction.  "KUDOS"
